JUMO STB/STW Säkerhetstemperaturbegränsare, säkerhetstemperaturvakt enl DIN EN 14597 (701150)

Using safety temperature limiters (STB) and safety temperature monitors (STW) makes it possible to prevent hazards that can lead to personal injuries, environmental damage or destruction of production systems and materials.

The primary task of the instrument is to monitor thermal processes reliably and place systems in a secure state in the event of a malfunction.
The value at the analog input can be measured with various sensors or standard signals. Installed LEDs K1 and K2 (red) indicate when a limit value is exceeded for each channel and the built-in alarm relay output switches the system to a safe operating state (alarm state).
Compliance with the high requirements of DIN EN 61508 and DIN EN 13849 is ensured by a device concept with an 1oo2D (1 out of 2 detection) structure for reliably detecting errors. These instruments are therefore suitable for use in applications subject to the new Machinery Directive 2006/ 42/EC.

• Safety temperature monitor STW
  Safety temperature monitor with automatic reset for heat-generating systems. An automatic reset occurs upon activation after the sensor temperature has risen or fallen above/below the set limit value by the amount of the switching differential (Function 2B, 2K, 2P)
• Safety temperature limiter STB
  Safety temperature limiter for heat-generating systems that can only be reset manually.
  (Functions 2B, 2J, 2V, 2K, 2P are adjustable.)
